In the past, my answer to this was Subaru.
Today, my answer to this is telecommuting. God bless flexible offices.

i considered asking but i’ve only been here a couple months and 8" isn;t the end of the world

It isn’t. The BMW has actually been doing pretty well in the snow, but I credit that to buying snow tires.

i have shit tires i was trying to get the suspension squared away so I could get an alignment before tires.

That does make it a tad tougher...I drove the Subaru on all-seasons and it typically did fine, but they were probably the best you can do without getting full snow tires (Conti ExtremeContact DWS).

Would help if I brought my laptop home. Didn’t know it was supposed to snow!

Top down ride into work today! Very fun, highly recommend. Only got a little bit of snow piled up in the car. Ski mask and goggles plus the heat made for an enjoyable experience.

Both work. If you can add an Allroad somewhere in that graphic I’ll use it as a background on my computer haha.
